PPG was introduced in April 2011 to help schools narrow the attainment gap between pupils from low-income and other disadvantaged backgrounds and their peers.
Pupils are eligible for the PPG if they:
- Are from a low-income family and receive free school meals (at any time over the last six years)
- Are looked after by the local authority
- Have a parent in the armed forces.
We also receive catch-up funding to help us counter the effects of the pandemic on children’s learning.
