This week we wave our year six children away for their annual trip. We know how much previous year six children have enjoyed this and we hope our current year six enjoy this experience as much as their predecessors.

Reading has been shown to be one of the most prominent indicators of academic success in the secondary years.  Children who develop a pleasure for reading expand have been shown to be more successful at GCSE and in higher educational institutions.   Encourage the children to read everyday for at least fifteen minutes.
