Wear Jeans, change lives!
On Friday 23rd September 2016, Baden Powell will be taking part in “Jeans for Genes” day! The amount raised will be donated to the Jeans for Genes charity, which funds a range of initiatives that improve the quality of life of children and families affected by genetic disorders.
We’d like to encourage all staff, children, parents and carers to donate £1, jazz up their jeans and strut their denim stuff on the day. This will be our first charity fundraiser of the academic year- together we can make this the most successful charity fundraiser yet.
Children will be learning about e-safety. They’ll learn about unsafe websites and consequences that could happen if they don’t stay safe. Children will be making PowerPoint presentations to show the knowledge they have acquired during safer internet day.
The children will learn about cyber bullies and how to stay away from negative activity on the internet.
Don’t forget that Baden Powell has a report bullying button on the school website. – http://www.baden-powell.hackney.sch.uk/pupils/report-bullying/
The children celebrated World Book Day with book-themed activities during the school day, many children dressed up as a book character on the day.
